B. Approval of Agenda
Motion to approve agenda made by Ann Tramontana; seconded by Sarah McIver; motion carried unanimously.
C. Approval of Minutes
Motion to approve February 8, 2006 minutes made by Robert Spirito; seconded by Ann Tramontana; motion carried unanimously.
D. Coordinator's Report
The status of the open 2005 cases to be provided. Motion to accept the Coordinator's Report of 2006 cases made by Mary Blair; seconded by Sarah McIver; motion carried unanimously.
E. Open Floor
Alfrieda M. Johnson of Newhallville introduced herself.
F. Unfinished Business 1) Assistant Chief of Police has given approval to review the internal investigation of completed Death Cases.
2) Appealed Case # 036-05C is still pending. Members are to complete the reading of the case and then discuss the next best course of action. The complainant will be contacted once the full board review and discussion has been completed.
G. Subcommittee Reports
Barbara Carroll provided updated CRB Forum information. There was extended discussion on this topic. Members present were in favor of the forum title as "Community and Police Partnership". The date is scheduled for Thursday May 11, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Kate McAdams to facilitate. The first choice for location is Career High School. Any member with ideas or volunteering to assist in preparation should contact Barbara Carroll no later than March 22nd.
Ann Tramontana indicated that the remaining item to resolve is that of Case Review of Deaths as referenced in the CRB by-laws. Training has occurred and panel review is status quo until we get more CRB members.
Ann Tramontana has asked that Assistant Corporation Counsel present information and explanations regarding the Mayor's Executive Order 01-01 dated March 1, 2001.
